Writer searches the graph for matching entities and relationships, then returns a precise answer. You control which knowledge graphs are queried by configuring graph IDs in the agent's gambit.

Can I control which Writer model the agent uses for text generation?

Yes. The agent supports model selection through the model parameter in both Text Generation and Chat Completion calls. You can specify any Writer model your organization has access to. Configure default models per gambit or let the agent select based on the task type.

What Writer API credentials does Tars need?

Tars requires your Writer API key, available from your Writer organization settings. This key provides access to knowledge graphs, text generation, chat completions, medical comprehension, web search, and file management endpoints. API access level depends on your Writer plan.

Does Tars store content generated by Writer?

No. Generated content is produced in real time during conversations and delivered to the user. Tars does not maintain a separate database of Writer outputs. Each generation request produces fresh content based on the current prompt and model parameters.
