Yes. Configure your custom domain in U301's dashboard. When creating short links, the agent passes your domain as a parameter. Instead of u301.co/abc123, your links appear as yourbrand.co/campaign-name. The agent uses your default domain automatically unless you specify a different one.

How do custom aliases work with U301?

Custom aliases replace the random string in short URLs with a memorable slug you choose. Aliases accept letters, numbers, underscores, and hyphens. Each alias must be unique per domain. If the requested alias is taken, the agent notifies you and suggests alternatives.

What happens when a link with an expiration date expires?

Once the ISO 8601 expiration date passes, the short link stops redirecting to the destination. Visitors see that the link is no longer available. This is automatic and requires no manual intervention. Ideal for time-sensitive promotions and event registrations.

Does Tars store my shortened URLs or click data?

Tars creates short links through U301's API and returns the shortened URL in conversation. Click tracking and analytics data live in U301's system. Tars does not maintain a separate database of your short links or their performance metrics.

Can password-protected links be changed after creation?

Password and other link properties are set at creation time through the U301 API. To change a password, create a new short link with the updated password. The original link continues to work with its original password until it expires or is deactivated in U301.
