TickTick
See how businesses pair TickTick with AI agents to capture tasks, close loops, and keep teams aligned without manual data entry.
A customer reports a billing discrepancy during a chat. Your AI Agent creates a TickTick task titled with the issue summary, assigns it to the finance project, sets a high priority and a 24-hour deadline, and adds the conversation transcript as a note. Your finance team sees the task immediately and resolves it before the customer follows up.
A client messages asking for a progress update on their onboarding. Your AI Agent queries the TickTick project associated with their account, retrieves all open and completed tasks, and summarizes what has been done and what remains. The client gets a clear, up-to-date answer without your project manager needing to draft an email.
A support agent finishes troubleshooting a technical issue and confirms the fix with the customer. Your AI Agent automatically marks the related TickTick task as complete, removing it from the open queue. Your dashboard stays clean, and weekly reports accurately reflect resolved versus pending items.

FAQs
The agent uses TickTick's Open API to call the Create Task endpoint. It sends the task title, due date, priority level, reminders, and project ID directly from the conversation context. The task appears instantly in your TickTick project with all the details attached.
Yes. You can configure routing rules so billing issues go to your Finance project, technical bugs go to Engineering, and feature requests go to Product. The agent retrieves your project list via the Get User Projects endpoint and assigns tasks accordingly.
Tars requires OAuth scopes for tasks:read and tasks:write. This allows creating, reading, updating, and completing tasks and projects. You authorize through TickTick's standard OAuth flow and can revoke access anytime from your TickTick settings.
No. Tars calls TickTick's API in real time during conversations. Task titles, project details, and due dates are fetched live and used only to respond to the current interaction. We do not maintain a separate copy of your TickTick data.
Yes. The Create Task endpoint supports RRULE strings for recurrence. If a customer requests a weekly check-in or a monthly report, the agent creates a recurring task using TickTick's repeatFlag parameter with the appropriate frequency.
The agent searches by project and task ID. If no match is found, it asks the customer for more details like the project name or date, and offers to create a new task if the original cannot be located. No dead ends in the conversation.
TickTick's native integrations let you forward emails or messages into tasks. Tars goes further by understanding the conversation context, extracting the right details, setting priority and deadlines automatically, and routing tasks to the correct project. Plus, it works across WhatsApp, SMS, and web.
Yes. The agent uses the List All Tasks endpoint to aggregate open tasks across projects. It can filter by due date to surface overdue items, giving your team or your customer a clear view of what needs immediate attention.
