Can the agent update custom contact fields in TextIt?

Yes. The Update Contact endpoint accepts a fields parameter where the agent can set or modify any custom field defined in your TextIt workspace. This includes demographic data, program enrollment status, survey responses, or any custom attribute you track.

What TextIt API credentials does Tars need?

Tars requires your TextIt API token, which you can find in your TextIt workspace settings under API. This token provides access to contacts, broadcasts, campaigns, flows, groups, labels, and other workspace resources based on your account permissions.

Does the agent support multilingual broadcast messages?

Yes. TextIt's broadcast endpoint accepts a base_language and translated message content. The agent sends the translations along with the broadcast, and TextIt delivers the message in each contact's preferred language when available.

No. All contact queries, group operations, and broadcast actions are performed live through TextIt's API. Contact information is fetched in real time and is not cached or stored on Tars servers between conversations.
