What voice options are available for the AI assistants?

Synthflow AI offers a catalog of text-to-speech voices across multiple languages and accents. The agent can list all available voices in your workspace, showing their characteristics so you can select the right voice for your brand. Voice selection happens during assistant creation or updates.

What authentication does Synthflow AI require?

Synthflow AI uses API key authentication. You obtain your API key from the Synthflow AI dashboard settings and paste it into the Tars tool configuration. The connection is established immediately with full access to your workspace's assistants, calls, and resources.

Does Tars store call recordings or transcripts from Synthflow AI?

No. Tars queries Synthflow AI's API in real time to retrieve call metadata, status, and duration. Call recordings and transcripts are stored within Synthflow AI's infrastructure. Tars does not cache or persist any voice data from your calls.

Can the agent handle both inbound and outbound voice assistants?

Yes. When creating an assistant, you specify the type as 'inbound', 'outbound', or 'widget'. Inbound assistants answer incoming calls to assigned phone numbers. Outbound assistants make calls to specified numbers. Widget assistants can be embedded in web applications for browser-based voice interactions.

How is this different from using Synthflow AI's dashboard?

The Synthflow AI dashboard requires navigating through multiple screens to create assistants, configure calls, and review logs. With Tars, your team describes what they need in natural language. Can the agent configure call recording and consent settings?

Yes. When creating or updating an assistant, the agent can enable or disable call recording using the is_recording parameter. It can also configure consent_recording to prompt callers for recording consent and set custom consent_text. This helps you stay compliant with call recording regulations.
