How does the AI agent retrieve Sensibo device data?

The agent calls the Get All Devices endpoint, which returns every Sensibo pod linked to the authenticated account. You can specify which fields to include in the response using a comma-separated list, or use '*' to get all available data including AC state, measurements, schedules, and device metadata.

What AC settings can the agent see for each device?

The agent accesses the current AC state including operating mode (cool, heat, fan, dry, auto), target temperature, fan speed level, swing position, and whether the unit is currently powered on. It also sees the device's supported modes and temperature range.

Can the agent access air quality sensor data from Sensibo Air Pro?

Yes. For Sensibo Air Pro devices, the agent retrieves environmental sensor readings including room temperature, humidity, CO2 levels, volatile organic compounds (VOCs), and PM2.5 particulate matter. These readings help diagnose comfort and air quality issues remotely.

Does Tars store Sensibo device data or sensor readings?

No. All device data is fetched live from Sensibo's API during each conversation. Temperature readings, AC states, and sensor data are queried on demand and used only for the current support interaction. Tars does not maintain a historical database of your Sensibo device data.

Can the agent manage devices across multiple properties?

Yes. The Get All Devices endpoint returns every device on the account regardless of physical location. Device names and location metadata help the agent identify which unit belongs to which property. For multi-property operations, naming conventions in Sensibo make cross-location support seamless.

What happens if a Sensibo device is offline?

The agent can check the device's last-seen timestamp and connectivity status in the returned data. If a device appears offline, the agent informs the support conversation with the last known state and recommends troubleshooting steps like checking WiFi connectivity or power supply.

How is this different from using the Sensibo mobile app for support?

The Sensibo app is designed for individual device owners. With Tars, support teams and property managers can query device data for any customer's installation during a support conversation. The agent brings device intelligence into the support workflow without requiring the customer to share screenshots or navigate their app.

What authentication does the Sensibo integration require?

You need a Sensibo API key generated from your account settings. The key authenticates all requests and provides access to devices linked to that account. Enter it in the Tars dashboard when adding the Sensibo tool. No OAuth flow or additional credentials are needed.
