Smart climate control meets conversational AI with Sensibo

Property managers and smart home users need instant answers about their AC systems. Your AI agent retrieves Sensibo device data, checks current climate settings, and monitors environmental sensors in real time. HVAC support that knows the state of every connected device before the customer finishes asking.

Chosen by 800+ global brands across industries

Climate device intelligence at your fingertips

Your AI agent connects to Sensibo's smart AC platform, pulling device inventories, climate readings, and configuration data into live support conversations.

List All Devices

A property manager asks about the status of their connected ACs. Your AI agent retrieves every Sensibo pod linked to their account, returning device names, locations, and current operational states. A complete device inventory delivered in seconds.

Check Device Settings

A tenant reports their AC is not cooling properly. The AI agent fetches the specific device's current settings including mode (cool, heat, fan, auto), target temperature, fan speed, and swing position. Troubleshooting starts with real data, not guesswork.

Monitor Room Conditions

Your AI agent retrieves environmental sensor readings from Sensibo Air Pro devices, including room temperature, humidity levels, and air quality metrics (CO2, VOCs, PM2.5). Support reps see the actual conditions without asking the customer to check.

Verify Connection Status

When a customer reports their AC is not responding to app commands, the AI agent checks the device's connectivity status and last-seen timestamp. Quickly determines whether the issue is network-related or a device malfunction.

Review Device Configuration

Your AI agent accesses each device's configuration details including firmware version, model type, supported AC modes, and available temperature ranges. Technical support informed by the device's actual capabilities.

Audit Multi-Property Installations

Facility managers overseeing multiple locations ask about their entire fleet. The AI agent pulls the complete device list with location tags and operational data, providing a cross-property overview of all Sensibo installations.

Use Cases

Smart building support, simplified

How property managers, HVAC companies, and smart home businesses use AI agents to support Sensibo installations and resolve climate control issues conversationally.

Remote HVAC Diagnostics for Property Managers

A tenant in unit 4B reports their apartment is too warm despite setting the AC to 72 degrees. The property manager asks the AI agent to check that unit's Sensibo device. Your AI Agent retrieves the device data, finds the AC is set to fan-only mode instead of cooling, and the room temperature reads 81 degrees. The manager remotely identifies the misconfiguration and instructs the tenant to switch modes. Issue resolved without dispatching a technician.

Air Quality Monitoring for Office Buildings

A facilities coordinator asks 'What is the air quality in conference room B?' Your AI Agent pulls the Sensibo Air Pro sensor data for that room, reporting CO2 at 1200 ppm and PM2.5 at elevated levels. The coordinator opens ventilation and schedules the room for fewer consecutive meetings. Air quality management informed by real sensor data, not complaints.

Fleet Overview for Smart Home Installation Companies

An HVAC company manages Sensibo devices across 200 customer homes. Their support agent asks for a fleet status check. Your AI Agent retrieves all devices, identifies three units showing offline status and two with firmware updates available, and presents the findings. Proactive maintenance scheduled before customers even notice issues.

FAQs

Frequently Asked Questions

How does the AI agent retrieve Sensibo device data?

The agent calls the Get All Devices endpoint, which returns every Sensibo pod linked to the authenticated account. You can specify which fields to include in the response using a comma-separated list, or use '*' to get all available data including AC state, measurements, schedules, and device metadata.

What AC settings can the agent see for each device?

The agent accesses the current AC state including operating mode (cool, heat, fan, dry, auto), target temperature, fan speed level, swing position, and whether the unit is currently powered on. It also sees the device's supported modes and temperature range.

Can the agent access air quality sensor data from Sensibo Air Pro?

Yes. For Sensibo Air Pro devices, the agent retrieves environmental sensor readings including room temperature, humidity, CO2 levels, volatile organic compounds (VOCs), and PM2.5 particulate matter. These readings help diagnose comfort and air quality issues remotely.

Does Tars store Sensibo device data or sensor readings?

No. All device data is fetched live from Sensibo's API during each conversation. Temperature readings, AC states, and sensor data are queried on demand and used only for the current support interaction. Tars does not maintain a historical database of your Sensibo device data.

Can the agent manage devices across multiple properties?

Yes. The Get All Devices endpoint returns every device on the account regardless of physical location. Device names and location metadata help the agent identify which unit belongs to which property. For multi-property operations, naming conventions in Sensibo make cross-location support seamless.

What happens if a Sensibo device is offline?

The agent can check the device's last-seen timestamp and connectivity status in the returned data. If a device appears offline, the agent informs the support conversation with the last known state and recommends troubleshooting steps like checking WiFi connectivity or power supply.

How is this different from using the Sensibo mobile app for support?

The Sensibo app is designed for individual device owners. With Tars, support teams and property managers can query device data for any customer's installation during a support conversation. The agent brings device intelligence into the support workflow without requiring the customer to share screenshots or navigate their app.

What authentication does the Sensibo integration require?

You need a Sensibo API key generated from your account settings. The key authenticates all requests and provides access to devices linked to that account. Enter it in the Tars dashboard when adding the Sensibo tool. No OAuth flow or additional credentials are needed.
