How does the AI agent access campaign data from Raisely?

The agent uses Raisely's REST API with your Campaign Private Key. It can retrieve campaigns, profiles, users, posts, tags, and subscriptions. Each API call is authenticated and scoped to your campaign. The agent fetches live data during conversations, so progress totals and donor counts are always current.

Can the agent show real-time fundraising progress to website visitors?

Yes. The agent retrieves campaign data from Raisely including total raised, goal amount, and donor count. When a visitor asks about progress, the agent calculates the percentage toward the goal and presents it conversationally. The data refreshes with each conversation, reflecting the latest donations.

What Raisely credentials does Tars need?

Tars requires your Raisely Campaign Private Key, which provides admin-level API access to your campaign data. You can find this key in your Raisely campaign settings under the developer section. The key can be regenerated at any time to revoke access.

Does Tars store donor personal information from Raisely?

No. Tars queries Raisely in real time during conversations. Donor names, emails, and giving data are fetched live and used only to respond to the current conversation. Tars does not maintain a separate database of your donor records.

Can the agent create new supporter records in Raisely from conversations?

Yes. The agent uses Raisely's user creation endpoint to upsert supporter records. When a new supporter shares their email and name during a conversation, the agent creates or updates their profile in Raisely. If the merge option is enabled, existing records with matching emails are updated rather than duplicated.

Does the agent support peer-to-peer fundraiser leaderboards?

Yes. The agent queries Raisely profiles with ranking parameters, sorting by total raised, donor count, or activity. It can show a fundraiser their position relative to other participants and display the top performers. This drives healthy competition among peer-to-peer fundraisers.

How is this different from the Raisely campaign website itself?

Your Raisely campaign site displays information statically. Tars adds a conversational layer where supporters ask specific questions and get personalized answers. The agent can explain campaign details, look up individual fundraiser stats, and register new supporters, all within a chat on your website, WhatsApp, or social channels.

Can the agent share campaign update posts with supporters during conversations?

Yes. The agent retrieves posts from Raisely's posts endpoint, which includes campaign updates, stories, and announcements. When a supporter asks what's new, the agent shares the latest updates chronologically, keeping donors engaged with your cause without requiring them to visit the campaign page.
