Frequently Asked Questions

How does the AI agent call ProcFu functions during a conversation?

When a customer asks a question that requires data processing, the agent selects the appropriate ProcFu endpoint, such as array diff, sort, or Sheets retrieval. It sends the request with the required parameters, receives the response, and incorporates the result into the conversation. All calls happen in real time via ProcFu's REST API.

Can the agent access my Google Sheets data through ProcFu?

Yes. The agent uses ProcFu's Sheets Get endpoint to retrieve data from any Google Sheet connected to your ProcFu account. You provide the spreadsheet ID and sheet name, and the agent pulls the contents as a structured array. The agent can also retrieve sheet metadata to understand available tabs.

What ProcFu credentials does Tars need?

Tars requires your ProcFu API Auth Token, which you can find in your ProcFu account settings. This token is sent as a Basic authorization header with every API request. It grants access to the functions and integrations linked to your ProcFu account.

Does Tars store the data returned by ProcFu functions?

No. ProcFu function results are fetched in real time and used only to generate the current conversation response. Array comparison results, spreadsheet data, and generated content are not persisted on Tars servers after the conversation ends.

Can the agent generate images via ProcFu's OpenAI integration?

Yes. The agent can call ProcFu's OpenAI Image endpoint with a text prompt and desired orientation (square, portrait, or landscape). The generated image URL is returned and shared directly in the conversation. This uses the OpenAI credits configured in your ProcFu account.

How is this different from calling ProcFu scripts directly from Podio Workflow Automation?

Podio Workflow Automation triggers ProcFu scripts based on item changes or scheduled events. Tars triggers ProcFu functions based on live customer conversations. The difference is interactivity. Your customers ask questions, and the agent runs the right function to answer them on the spot.

Can the agent delete files from Google Drive through ProcFu?

Yes. If your ProcFu account has Google Drive integration configured, the agent can delete files or folders by their Google Drive ID. This is useful for cleanup workflows initiated during customer interactions, such as removing outdated shared documents.

What types of dummy data can the agent generate?

Through ProcFu's Dummy Data function, the agent can generate realistic test data including email addresses, paragraphs of text, random numbers, dates, names, physical addresses, and image URLs. This is particularly useful for demo conversations and testing your workflows end to end.
