All through the Microsoft Graph API with the OAuth scopes you approve.

Can I control which Outlook mailboxes and calendars the agent accesses?

Yes. OAuth scopes determine exactly what the agent can do. You can grant read-only mail access, read-write calendar access, or any combination. The agent only accesses the signed-in user's mailbox and calendars unless you explicitly grant shared mailbox permissions.

Does the agent need an Outlook admin account to connect?

No. Any Microsoft 365 or Outlook.com user can authorize the connection through OAuth. However, if your organization has admin consent policies, your IT admin may need to approve the Tars application once for the entire tenant. Individual users can then connect seamlessly.

Can the agent send emails on behalf of a specific team member?

The agent sends emails from the authorized Outlook account. If you want emails to come from support@yourcompany.com, authorize that shared mailbox. The agent composes and sends through whichever account you connect, maintaining your brand's professional communication.

How does the agent handle email attachments?

The agent can add attachments to outgoing emails and download attachments from incoming messages through Outlook's attachment APIs. For files larger than 3 MB, it uses upload sessions. This means it can send contracts, receipts, or documentation directly from the conversation.
