What does NeuronWriter's content import actually do?

The Import Content endpoint loads HTML or URL-sourced content into NeuronWriter's optimization editor. Once imported, the content is analyzed against your target query using NLP and semantic SEO algorithms. You see a content score, missing terms, competitor comparisons, and optimization suggestions.

Can the agent import content from any website URL?

Yes. The agent submits the URL to NeuronWriter, which crawls and parses the page content. You can specify a container class or element ID to extract only the article body. This works for any publicly accessible URL, including your own blog posts and competitor pages.

What is the query ID and where do I find it?

The query ID corresponds to a keyword analysis you have set up in NeuronWriter. Each target keyword has a unique query ID. You find these in your NeuronWriter dashboard under your project's content recommendations. The agent needs this ID to link imported content to the right SEO analysis.

Does importing content overwrite what is already in the NeuronWriter editor?

Yes. The Import Content endpoint replaces the current editor content for that query. The title and meta description fields can also be overwritten if you provide new values in the import request. Save any work in the editor before importing new content.

Can the agent read the SEO score back after importing?

The Import Content endpoint is a write operation that pushes content into NeuronWriter. The SEO scoring and analysis happen within NeuronWriter's editor interface. The agent can confirm the import was successful, but score retrieval requires checking the NeuronWriter dashboard.

How is this different from using NeuronWriter's built-in AI writer?

NeuronWriter's AI writer generates content within its editor. The Tars integration imports externally created content for optimization. This means your team can write anywhere, using any tool, and then push the result into NeuronWriter for semantic analysis and scoring.

Does Tars store the content I send to NeuronWriter?

Tars passes the HTML or URL to the NeuronWriter API during the conversation. The content is stored in your NeuronWriter account. Tars does not maintain a separate copy of your articles, meta descriptions, or titles.

Can I use this to optimize content for multiple languages?

NeuronWriter supports multiple languages for content optimization. When you set up a query in NeuronWriter for a specific language and search engine, the agent imports content against that localized analysis. Each language requires its own query configuration in NeuronWriter.
