Yes. The Update Campaign endpoint supports A/B split test configuration including subject line variations, sender variants, content alternatives, winner selection criteria, test duration in hours, and list percentage for testing. Your agent can configure these parameters based on your instructions.

What Moosend API key permissions does Tars need?

Tars uses your standard Moosend API key, which you generate in your Moosend account settings. This key provides access to mailing lists, subscribers, campaigns, and custom fields. There are no granular permission scopes. You can regenerate the key at any time to revoke access.

Does Tars store subscriber email addresses from Moosend?

No. When adding subscribers, the agent sends data directly to Moosend's API. When looking up subscribers, it queries Moosend in real time. Email addresses and custom field values are used only within the active conversation and are not stored in a separate Tars database.

Can the agent look up subscribers across multiple mailing lists?

The Get Subscriber by Email endpoint requires a specific mailing list ID. If you need cross-list lookups, the agent can query multiple lists sequentially. For efficiency, you can designate a primary list where the agent searches first based on your typical subscriber flow.

How is this different from Moosend's built-in subscription forms?

Moosend forms require visitors to find, fill out, and submit a static form. Tars captures subscribers during natural conversations, which means higher engagement and lower abandonment. The agent can also collect richer custom field data through dialogue rather than lengthy form fields.

Can the agent create custom fields for subscriber segmentation?

Yes. The agent can create custom fields in any mailing list using Moosend's Create Custom Field API, supporting field types like text, number, datetime, single-select dropdown, and checkbox. It can also set options for dropdown fields and mark fields as required or hidden.

What happens if I try to add a subscriber who already exists?

Moosend's Add Subscriber endpoint supports upsert behavior. If the email already exists in the list, the subscriber's information gets updated with the new values provided. Your agent handles this seamlessly, so returning visitors always have their latest details on file.
