How does the AI agent send WhatsApp messages through Mocean?

The agent calls Mocean's WhatsApp Send Message API with your registered WhatsApp Business number as the sender and the customer's number as the recipient. It supports text messages, media attachments (images, audio, documents), template messages, and interactive buttons. Messages route through Mocean's WhatsApp Business API gateway.

Can the agent check whether an SMS was actually delivered?

Yes. After sending an SMS, Mocean returns a message ID. The agent queries the delivery status API using that ID and returns the exact delivery state, whether the message was delivered, pending, or failed. This provides confirmation beyond just 'sent' status.

What authentication does Mocean require?

Mocean uses an API key and API secret pair for authentication. Both are available in your Mocean account dashboard. Some endpoints also accept a base URL parameter for regional routing. Enter these credentials in the Tars tool configuration to enable all messaging capabilities.

Does Tars store the content of messages sent through Mocean?

No. Tars passes message content directly to Mocean's API for delivery. Message bodies, recipient numbers, and delivery reports are used only during the active conversation and are not stored on Tars servers. Mocean maintains its own delivery logs per your account settings.

Can the agent handle voice calls with interactive menus?

Yes. Mocean's Voice API supports programmable call flows defined as JSON command arrays. The agent can initiate calls with text-to-speech prompts, DTMF input collection, call recording, and call forwarding. You define the call flow logic and the agent executes it through the API.
