Manage Facebook and Instagram ads through AI conversations instead of dashboards

Checking ad performance should not require 15 clicks through Ads Manager. Your AI agent pulls Meta Ads insights, pauses underperforming campaigns, and creates new ad sets, all through natural language requests. Marketing teams spend more time on strategy, less time navigating dashboards.

Use Cases

Marketing teams, unshackled from Ads Manager

Real scenarios where marketing professionals use AI to monitor, adjust, and launch Meta ad campaigns without navigating complex dashboards.

Morning Performance Briefing in 30 Seconds

Your marketing lead opens a chat and asks 'How are our Meta campaigns doing this week?' The AI Agent queries insights across all active campaigns, aggregates impressions, spend, CPC, and conversion data, and delivers a formatted summary. Campaigns overspending get flagged automatically. The briefing that used to require 20 minutes of dashboard navigation happens in half a minute.

Emergency Campaign Pause When Budget Runs Hot

A campaign is burning through its daily budget by noon due to a targeting misconfiguration. A team member messages the agent: 'Pause the Summer Sale campaign immediately.' The agent finds the campaign by name, triggers the pause through Meta's API, and confirms delivery has stopped. All child ad sets freeze simultaneously. Budget bleeding stops before the afternoon meeting.

Launching a Flash Sale Campaign in Minutes

Your team decides on a 48-hour flash sale at 3 PM. Instead of spending an hour in Ads Manager, they tell the agent the objective, budget, targeting, and creative requirements. The agent creates the campaign, builds the ad set with specified demographics, and sets it live. The campaign launches before the competition even opens their ad accounts.

FAQs

Frequently Asked Questions

What Meta Ads data can the agent retrieve during a conversation?

The agent accesses the full Insights API, including impressions, clicks, spend, reach, CPC, CPM, CTR, frequency, conversions, and action values. Data can be broken down by age, gender, placement, device, and more. You can request account-level, campaign-level, ad set-level, or individual ad-level metrics.

Can the agent create ads with images and videos, or just campaigns?

The agent can create full ad stacks: campaigns, ad sets, ad creatives (with image, video, or carousel specifications), and individual ads. It can also upload ad images to your account and create ad creatives that reference those images by hash. Video ads require the video to be uploaded to your Meta library first.

What access token permissions does Tars need for Meta Ads?

You need a Meta Marketing API access token with ads_management and ads_read permissions at minimum. For custom audience creation, you also need business_management. Generate tokens through Meta Business Manager under Business Settings. Long-lived tokens are recommended to avoid frequent re-authentication.

Does Tars store my Meta Ads campaign data or analytics?

No. All insights, campaign data, and audience information are fetched live from Meta's Marketing API during conversations. Tars does not cache or store your advertising data. Every request goes directly to Meta's servers and returns fresh results.

Can the agent manage campaigns across both Facebook and Instagram?

Yes. Meta treats Facebook and Instagram as a unified advertising platform. When the agent creates campaigns, ad sets, or ads through the Marketing API, the placements you specify determine where ads appear. The agent can target Facebook Feed, Instagram Stories, Reels, Messenger, and Audience Network within a single ad set.

How is this different from using Meta's Ads Manager directly?

Ads Manager requires navigating a complex dashboard with multiple screens. Your AI agent condenses those operations into conversational requests. Ask for performance data, create campaigns, or pause ads in plain English. Especially valuable for quick checks, emergency pauses, and when team members need data without learning the full Ads Manager interface.

Can the agent resume a paused campaign?

Yes. The agent can pause and resume campaigns through Meta's API. When you resume a campaign, it returns to ACTIVE status and previously active ad sets restart delivery. Ad sets that were individually paused before the campaign pause remain paused, matching Meta's native behavior.

What happens if the agent creates a campaign with an incorrect objective?

Campaigns are created in PAUSED status by default, giving you a chance to review before they go live. If an objective needs to change, you would need to create a new campaign since Meta does not allow modifying campaign objectives after creation. The agent can delete the incorrect campaign and create a new one with the right settings.
