How does the AI agent look up a lead's engagement history in lemlist?

The agent calls lemlist's Retrieve Lead by Email endpoint with the prospect's email address. It returns the lead's full profile including campaign associations, current state (contacted, interested, bounced, etc.), and all custom variables. For activity details, it uses the Retrieve Activities endpoint filtered by campaign.

Can the agent create new outreach campaigns in lemlist?

Yes. The agent uses lemlist's Create Campaign API with a campaign name and team ID. It returns the new campaign ID, default sequence ID, and schedule ID. Your team can then configure sequences and add leads through follow-up commands.

What lemlist API credentials does Tars need?

Tars requires your lemlist API key, generated from your lemlist account settings under the Integrations section. This key provides access to campaigns, leads, activities, schedules, and unsubscribe management. You can regenerate the key at any time.

Does Tars store lead or campaign data from lemlist?

No. Tars queries lemlist's API in real time during every conversation. Lead profiles, campaign configurations, and activity logs are fetched live and used only for the current interaction. No outreach data is cached or persisted by Tars.

Can the agent manage unsubscribe lists in lemlist?

Yes. The agent can check if an email is on the unsubscribe list, add emails or entire domains to the suppression list, remove re-subscribed contacts, and export the full unsubscribe list as CSV. This helps your team maintain compliance and sender reputation.

What happens when the agent marks a lead as interested?

When the agent calls lemlist's Mark Lead as Interested endpoint, the lead's status updates across all campaigns or a specific one. Depending on your campaign settings, this can pause automated outreach for that lead, flag them for human follow-up, and trigger opportunity tracking.
