Which JigsawStack AI models can the agent call during a conversation?

Your agent can access JigsawStack's image generation, sentiment analysis, text-to-speech (including voice cloning), and AI-powered web search. Each model is invoked in real time when the conversation requires it, with results returned in under two seconds on average.

How does the agent decide when to generate an image versus searching the web?

You configure intent-based routing in your agent's gambit settings. When a customer asks to 'show me' or 'create a visual,' the agent triggers image generation. When they ask factual questions outside your knowledge base, it falls back to JigsawStack's web search. You control which models activate for which intents.

Does JigsawStack's text-to-speech support multiple languages?

Yes. JigsawStack supports over 160 languages across its models. Your agent can generate speech in the language your customer is communicating in, selecting from a range of accents and voice profiles to match your brand's regional needs.

What happens if JigsawStack's API is temporarily unavailable?

Tars handles API timeouts gracefully. If JigsawStack does not respond within the configured window, your agent delivers a text-only fallback response and logs the incident. Customers never see a broken experience, and you get notified to investigate.

Can I limit which customers trigger image generation to control costs?

Absolutely. Set conditional rules in your agent flow, for example only allowing image generation for authenticated users or specific conversation paths. JigsawStack bills per API call, so restricting access to high-value interactions keeps costs predictable.

Does Tars store the images or audio files JigsawStack generates?

No. Generated media is passed through to the conversation as URLs hosted by JigsawStack. Tars does not maintain a separate cache of generated images or audio clips. You can optionally store them in your own JigsawStack file store by providing a file_store_key parameter.

How does the sentiment analysis influence the agent's behavior?

Configure sentiment thresholds in your agent settings. When JigsawStack detects negative sentiment above your threshold, the agent can switch to an empathetic tone, offer a discount, or escalate to a human. Positive sentiment can trigger upsell prompts. You define the rules.

Is JigsawStack's web search different from a regular Google search?
