How does the agent estimate pricing before placing a gift order?

The agent uses Goody's Calculate Price endpoint, which takes cart items, recipient list, and send method as inputs. It returns per-recipient cost and total batch price including shipping. This lets teams preview exact costs before committing, ensuring budget compliance for every gift send.

Where do I find my Goody Commerce API key?

Sign up at developer.ongoody.com to access the Goody Commerce API. Your API key is generated in the developer dashboard. Enter this key in the Tars Tools configuration when connecting Goody. The key authenticates all product catalog, ordering, and tracking requests.

Can the agent track whether a gift recipient has accepted their gift?

Yes. The List All Orders endpoint returns order status including whether the gift link has been opened, the recipient has accepted and chosen their item (for choice gifts), and the delivery status. Your team can follow up with recipients who have not yet claimed their gift.

Does Tars store recipient addresses or gift order data?

Tars processes order and recipient data during the conversation to interact with Goody's API. For link-based sends, Goody collects recipient addresses directly. Tars retains conversation transcripts per your retention settings, but the primary order and recipient data lives in your Goody account.

Can gifts be sent internationally through the agent?

Yes. Goody supports international shipping to select countries. The agent can filter products by country code to show only items available for the recipient's location. Use the country_code parameter when browsing the catalog to ensure product availability matches the destination.
