What address enrichment fields can the AI agent append through Geocodio?

The agent can append census data (block, tract, FIPS codes, MSA), congressional districts, state legislative districts, school districts, Canadian provincial ridings, Canadian statistical boundaries, FFIEC fair lending data, USPS ZIP+4, and timezone information. Each is requested via a fields parameter on the geocode call.

Does Geocodio only work with US and Canadian addresses?

Geocodio specializes in the United States and Canada for forward geocoding and data enrichment. Reverse geocoding also covers Mexico. If your customers are primarily in North America, Geocodio provides significantly more accurate results and richer data appends than global geocoders.

How does Geocodio handle misspelled or incomplete addresses?

Geocodio's address parser intelligently corrects spelling errors, fixes missing directionals and suffixes, and completes partial addresses. Your agent sends what the customer typed, and Geocodio returns a standardized, geocoded result with city, state, ZIP, and county filled in.

Can the agent process bulk address lists through Geocodio?

Does Tars store geocoded address data from Geocodio?

Tars queries Geocodio in real time during conversations. Geocoded coordinates and enrichment data are used to respond to the customer and can be passed to your CRM if configured. Tars itself does not maintain a separate address database from your Geocodio queries.

How accurate is Geocodio for rooftop-level geocoding?

Geocodio provides accuracy types ranging from rooftop (exact building) to interpolated (estimated position on a street segment). The API returns an accuracy score and type with each result. Your agent can check accuracy type and ask for address confirmation when results are interpolated rather than rooftop-level.
