Frequently Asked Questions

How does the text-to-speech work through the AI agent?

The agent sends your text (40-500 characters) and a selected voice ID to Gan.AI's TTS endpoint. Audio is generated synchronously and returned within seconds. Gan.AI supports 23 languages with ultra-realistic voices that mimic human tone, pitch, emotion, and pacing. You choose from available voices or use a cloned voice.

Can the agent create videos using my own photo avatar?

Yes. The agent accesses your published photo avatars via the List Photo Avatars API. You create avatars in the Gan.AI console by uploading a photo and providing 30 seconds of voice sample. Once published, the agent can trigger video inferences using that avatar for personalized video messages.

What Gan.AI credentials does Tars need?

You need your Gan.AI API key, which is generated from the Gan.AI platform dashboard. The key is passed as a Bearer token in the authorization header. Tars stores the key securely and never exposes it in conversation logs or to end users.

Does Tars store the videos generated through Gan.AI?

No. Tars triggers video generation on Gan.AI's infrastructure and retrieves download URLs. The actual video files are hosted by Gan.AI. Tars only passes the links within the conversation. Video storage, retention, and access controls remain under your Gan.AI account.

How long does it take to generate a personalized avatar video?

Video generation is asynchronous. The agent submits the request and receives an inference ID, then polls for status. Typical processing times range from 30 seconds to a few minutes depending on video length and avatar complexity. The agent notifies you as soon as the video is ready.

Can the agent filter videos by status to find only completed ones?

Yes. Both the List Avatar Videos and List Photo Avatar Inferences endpoints support status filters. The agent can query for 'succeeded', 'failed', 'processing', or other status values. Date range filters and avatar ID filters are also available for precise retrieval.

What languages does Gan.AI's text-to-speech support?

Gan.AI's Myna TTS models support 23 languages with natural-sounding voices. The agent can generate audio in English, Spanish, French, German, Portuguese, Hindi, and many other languages. Each voice maintains realistic prosody and emotional expression across all supported languages.

Can I use the AI agent to manage multiple Gan.AI avatars for different team members?

Yes. The agent lists all photo avatars in your workspace and can filter by title or status. Each team member can have their own avatar, and the agent selects the right one based on who is sending the outreach. This scales personalized video across your entire sales team.
