Flux Image Generation
From product mockups to social media graphics, see how AI-powered image generation eliminates the wait for creative assets and keeps conversations productive.
A prospect asks what their logo would look like on your product packaging. Your AI Agent takes their description, sends it to Flux as a text prompt, and generates a realistic mockup within the conversation. The prospect sees the visual before the call ends. Your design team never gets pulled away from higher-priority work.
Your marketing manager needs a quick visual for a campaign going live today. They describe the concept to the AI Agent, which generates multiple options using Flux with the right aspect ratio for each platform. Instagram square, Twitter landscape, Stories portrait. The team picks their favorite and publishes immediately.
A content manager is writing a help article and needs an illustration showing a specific workflow. They describe it to the AI Agent, which generates a clean visual using Flux in WebP format for fast loading. The article gets published with custom artwork in minutes instead of days waiting for a designer.

FAQs
Flux is built by Black Forest Labs and runs on Replicate's infrastructure. It uses a state-of-the-art text-to-image model that produces high-quality visuals from natural language descriptions. The same team behind Stable Diffusion created Flux, offering superior prompt following and photorealism.
With the default fast mode enabled and 4 inference steps, Flux generates images in approximately 2 to 5 seconds. Higher quality settings with more inference steps take longer but produce sharper details. The agent can adjust speed versus quality based on the use case.
Flux outputs images in WebP, PNG, and JPG formats. Resolution is controlled via the megapixels setting, and aspect ratio options include 1:1, 16:9, 9:16, 4:3, 3:4, and more. Output quality ranges from 1 to 100, giving fine-grained control over file size and visual fidelity.
Images are generated on Replicate's infrastructure and delivered as URLs during the conversation. Tars does not permanently store generated images. If you need to keep them, download or save the images during the conversation session. Replicate's retention policies apply to the hosted URLs.
Yes. The num_outputs parameter lets you request up to multiple variations per prompt. The agent sends one request to Flux and returns all generated options, allowing users to pick their preferred version without running separate generations.
Flux is optimized for speed and API-first generation, making it ideal for real-time conversational use. It runs on Replicate with no waitlists or Discord dependencies. The model excels at photorealism and prompt adherence, and you control resolution, format, and quality programmatically.
Detailed, descriptive prompts produce the best results. Include subject, style, lighting, composition, and mood in your description. For example, 'professional product photo of a ceramic mug on a wooden table, soft morning light, minimalist background' yields better results than 'mug photo.'
Flux follows Replicate's acceptable use policies, which restrict generation of harmful, deceptive, or explicit content. The model includes built-in safety filters. Your Tars agent can also be configured with additional content guidelines to ensure generated images align with your brand standards.
