What FlowiseAI instance types are supported by this integration?

Any self-hosted or cloud-hosted FlowiseAI instance with API access enabled works with Tars. You provide your instance's base URL and API key during setup. Whether you run FlowiseAI on Docker, a VPS, or a managed cloud service, the integration connects through the standard REST API endpoints.

Can the AI agent create chatflows with complex multi-node configurations?

Yes. The agent passes flowData as a JSON configuration to FlowiseAI's create-chatflow endpoint. You can define nodes, edges, LLM connections, and memory settings programmatically. For complex flows, teams often clone an existing template and modify specific parameters through the update endpoint.

How does the agent filter chat messages for quality review?

The agent uses FlowiseAI's list-chat-messages endpoint with filters for date range, feedback type (thumbs up or thumbs down), chat type (internal or external), and session ID. This lets QA teams pull precisely the conversations they need without downloading full logs.

Does Tars store conversation data from my FlowiseAI chatflows?

No. Tars queries your FlowiseAI instance in real time and returns messages only during the active conversation. Chat logs, user data, and chatflow configurations stay on your FlowiseAI server. Nothing is replicated to Tars infrastructure.

Can I restrict which chatflows the AI agent can access or modify?

Access control depends on your FlowiseAI API key permissions. If your instance supports scoped API keys or role-based access, the agent inherits those restrictions. You can also configure Tars to limit which operations the agent performs through gambit-level tool permissions.

What happens if I try to delete a chatflow that is currently deployed?

The agent sends the delete request to FlowiseAI, which processes it according to your instance's rules. Most FlowiseAI setups allow deletion regardless of deployment status. We recommend configuring the agent to confirm deployment status before deletion to prevent accidental removal of live chatflows.

How is this different from using FlowiseAI's visual builder directly?

The visual builder is ideal for designing flows. Tars complements it by handling operational tasks: listing flows, checking status, reviewing conversations, cloning environments, and updating settings. Think of it as a conversational operations layer on top of your FlowiseAI infrastructure.

Can the agent manage FlowiseAI custom tools alongside chatflows?

Yes. The integration includes endpoints for listing, retrieving, updating, and deleting custom tools within your FlowiseAI instance. The agent can inventory your tool library, update tool metadata, or remove deprecated tools through conversational requests.
