No. Extracta AI uses advanced AI and large language models that work without prior training. You define the fields you want extracted, and the system handles the rest. This zero-training approach means your AI agent can start processing documents immediately after connecting the integration.

What document types can the AI agent process through Extracta AI?

Extracta AI supports PDFs, scanned documents, images (JPG, PNG), and text files. Specialized extraction templates are available for invoices, contracts, resumes, and receipts. The OCR engine reads printed and handwritten text, and the system handles documents in up to 27 languages.

How long does document extraction typically take?

Most documents are processed within seconds to a few minutes depending on complexity and length. The agent monitors extraction status in real-time using the view extraction endpoint and notifies the customer as soon as results are ready, keeping the conversation flowing naturally.

Does Extracta AI store my customers' documents permanently?

Extracta AI is GDPR compliant and only stores information as long as you want. Documents and extracted data can be deleted immediately after processing using the delete extraction endpoint.
