How does the AI agent retrieve event details from Evenium?

The agent calls Evenium's Get Events endpoint, which returns events with their titles, dates, locations, and status. The agent can filter by search keywords, sort by date, and include or exclude archived, draft, or deleted events. Results are paginated for efficient retrieval of large event portfolios.

Can the agent search for a specific attendee in Evenium contacts?

Yes. The Get Contacts endpoint supports search by name, email, or other criteria. The agent passes the search term and retrieves matching contact records. This is useful for verifying registrations, looking up VIP attendees, or personalizing conversations with returning participants.

What authentication does Tars need for the Evenium integration?

You enter your Evenium API key in the Tars dashboard. The agent uses this key to authenticate all API requests. No OAuth flow or complex setup is required. Your API key can be obtained from your Evenium account settings.

Does Tars store copies of my Evenium event or attendee data?

No. The agent queries Evenium in real time during conversations. Event details, contact records, and registration data are fetched live and used only to respond to the current interaction. Tars does not cache or replicate your Evenium database.

Can the agent differentiate between active, archived, and draft events?

Yes. The Get Events endpoint accepts filters for archived and draft events, as well as deleted events if needed. The agent uses these filters to show only the relevant event status when responding to attendee or organizer queries.

What happens if an attendee asks about an event that has been deleted?

By default, deleted events are excluded from results. However, the agent can include deleted events by passing the includeDeleted filter. If the event is found, the agent can inform the attendee that the event was cancelled and suggest alternatives from the active event list.

How is this different from Evenium's ConnexMe attendee app?

ConnexMe is a mobile app for attendees at live events, focused on in-event engagement like polling and networking.
