Yes. The agent uses EODHD's real-time forex WebSocket endpoint to subscribe to specific currency pairs like EUR/USD or GBP/USD. Live quotes are delivered with less than 50ms latency. EODHD covers over 1,100 forex pairs for real-time streaming.

What EODHD API token does Tars require?

Tars needs your EODHD API token, which you receive upon registration at eodhd.com. This single token authenticates all API requests including historical data, real-time WebSockets, macro indicators, and mutual fund endpoints. No additional OAuth or multi-key setup required.

Does Tars store the financial data retrieved from EODHD?

No. Tars queries EODHD in real time during conversations. Stock prices, macro indicators, fund data, and forex rates are fetched live and used only within the current session. No financial data is cached or stored on Tars servers between conversations.

What mutual fund information can the agent retrieve from EODHD?

The agent uses EODHD's Mutual Funds Data endpoint to retrieve comprehensive fund information by ticker code, such as VFIAX.US. Returned data includes NAV, expense ratio, fund family, asset allocation, top holdings, and performance history. Results come in JSON or CSV format.

What date range formats does the Macro Indicators API accept?

The EODHD Macro Indicators API accepts dates in YYYY-MM-DD format for both the from_date and to_date parameters. If no dates are provided, the API returns the full available history for the requested country and indicator. You can filter by specific indicators like GDP or CPI to narrow the response.
