Image processing your agent controls

Upscale blurry photos, strip backgrounds, correct lighting, and resize visuals. Your AI agent handles the full image enhancement pipeline through Deep Image's processing API.

Enhance Images Instantly

A user uploads a low-quality product photo. Your AI agent sends it to Deepimage's synchronous processing endpoint with denoise, deblur, and color correction enhancements applied. The polished image returns within seconds, ready for listing.

Remove Backgrounds

A seller needs a clean white background for their marketplace listing. Your agent processes the image with the background removal option enabled, stripping the original background and replacing it with a solid color or transparent canvas.

Upscale to High Resolution

A customer's uploaded image is too small for print materials. The agent submits it to Deepimage with target dimensions set to 200%, producing a sharp, upscaled version using generative AI that fills in detail rather than blurring edges.

Process Images Asynchronously

A batch of product images needs enhancement but some take longer than 25 seconds. Your agent schedules jobs through the async endpoint and polls for results using the returned hash, ensuring large or complex images complete without timeouts.

Retrieve Job Results

An image enhancement job was submitted earlier. Your agent calls the Get Job Result endpoint with the job hash to check processing status and retrieve the final enhanced image URL once the job completes.

Check Account Credits

Before processing a large batch, your agent verifies available credits by calling the Account Info endpoint. It returns the current credit balance, username, and API settings, preventing failed jobs due to insufficient credits.

Use Cases

Visual commerce made effortless

See how businesses use AI-powered image enhancement to improve product listings, marketing visuals, and customer-uploaded content without a design team.

E-Commerce Listings That Sell Themselves

A seller uploads a smartphone photo of their product. Your AI Agent detects low resolution and poor lighting, then sends the image through Deepimage's processing API with the e-commerce preset, applying upscaling, color correction, white balance, and background removal in a single call. The seller receives a marketplace-ready image in under 10 seconds. Product pages convert better with professional visuals, and sellers skip the cost of hiring a photographer.

Real Estate Photos Ready for Listing Day

An agent uploads property photos taken on a cloudy afternoon. Your AI Agent processes each image using Deepimage's real_estate preset with lighting enhancement, color saturation boost, and resolution upscaling. Dark rooms brighten up. Exterior shots pop with corrected white balance. The listing goes live with polished photos that attract more inquiries, all without scheduling a reshoot or editing in Photoshop.

User-Uploaded Content That Meets Brand Standards

A customer submits a blurry photo for a custom product order. Your AI Agent automatically enhances the upload using Deepimage's face enhancement, denoise, and deblur capabilities, then confirms the improved image with the customer before proceeding. The order ships with a quality result. Your production team no longer rejects uploads or asks customers to retake photos.

FAQs

Frequently Asked Questions

What types of image enhancements can the AI agent apply through Deepimage?

The agent can apply denoise, deblur, color correction, white balance adjustment, exposure correction, face enhancement, lighting improvement, and clean-up enhancements. Multiple enhancements can be combined in a single API call. Industry presets like e-commerce and real_estate bundle the most effective combinations for those use cases.

How does background removal work during a conversation?

The agent passes the image URL to Deepimage's processing endpoint with the background parameter configured. You can remove the background entirely for a transparent PNG, replace it with a solid color, or generate a new background using AI. The processed image returns within seconds for the customer to review.

What is the maximum image size or resolution Deepimage can handle?

Deepimage can upscale images up to 16x their original size or up to 300 megapixels. You control the output dimensions using width and height parameters in pixels or percentages. The output_format parameter lets you choose PNG, JPEG, or WebP, and the quality parameter adjusts compression from 0 to 100.

What happens if image processing takes longer than expected?

The synchronous endpoint returns results if processing completes within 25 seconds. For larger images, it returns a job hash instead. Your agent then polls the Get Job Result endpoint using that hash to retrieve the final image when ready. This prevents conversation timeouts while still delivering the enhanced result.

Does Tars store the images processed through Deepimage?

Tars sends image URLs to Deepimage for processing and receives result URLs back. The processed images are stored on Deepimage's servers temporarily. You can use the Delete Job endpoint to remove processed results when no longer needed, or configure a target storage destination for output images.

Can I use industry presets to simplify image processing for specific verticals?

Yes. Deepimage offers preset configurations including real_estate and ecommerce that bundle optimized enhancement combinations. The e-commerce preset focuses on product clarity, background cleanliness, and color accuracy. The real estate preset emphasizes lighting correction and spatial enhancement. Pass the preset parameter to apply them.

How does the generative upscaling differ from basic image resizing?

Basic resizing stretches pixels and creates blur. Deepimage's generative upscale uses AI to create new image details that match the original content. For example, it can add realistic texture to foliage, fabric detail, or skin in portraits. This produces sharp, detailed enlargements rather than fuzzy scaled-up versions.

Can the agent process images in bulk or only one at a time?

The agent can submit multiple images sequentially using the async processing endpoint. Each submission returns a job hash for tracking. Your agent can queue several images and retrieve results as they complete, enabling batch workflows. Check your account credits beforehand using the Account Info endpoint to avoid interruptions.
