How does the job change detection work within a conversation?

When asked to verify a contact, the agent sends their email to Datagma's job change detection endpoint. Datagma compares current employment data against its database and returns whether the person has changed roles, their new company name, and updated title. This happens live during the conversation, so reps get instant answers.

Can the agent check if a phone number is linked to WhatsApp?

Yes. When searching for phone numbers, the agent can enable Datagma's WhatsApp check parameter. The API returns phone numbers along with a flag indicating WhatsApp availability, helping your team prioritize messaging channels for each prospect.

Does Tars store the enriched contact data from Datagma?

No. Enrichment data is fetched from Datagma in real time during each conversation and used only to generate the response. Tars does not cache or store Datagma results. If you need persistence, configure the agent to push enriched data to your CRM through a separate integration.

Datagma's reverse email lookup is designed for non-EU personal emails only. The API respects GDPR boundaries by limiting personal email reverse lookups to contacts outside the European Union. For EU contacts, use professional email enrichment instead, which is fully compliant.
