How does the AI agent retrieve learner progress from Coassemble?

The agent calls Coassemble's Get Trackings API, filtering by the learner's identifier and optionally by course ID. It receives real-time progress data including completion status, scores, and timestamps. All data is fetched live from your Coassemble workspace, not cached or stored separately.

Can the agent tell a learner which courses they still need to complete?

Yes. The agent retrieves the full course catalog for the learner's client identifier, then cross-references with their tracking records filtered by completed equals false. The result is a list of outstanding courses, giving the learner a clear view of remaining requirements.

What Coassemble credentials does Tars require?

Tars needs your Coassemble API key, which you generate from your Coassemble workspace settings under the Headless section. The API key grants read access to courses, users, clients, and tracking data. You can revoke or regenerate the key at any time from Coassemble.

Does Tars store copies of my Coassemble training data?

No. Every query runs live against Coassemble's API. Learner progress, course details, and user records are fetched in real time during conversations and used only to generate the response. Tars does not maintain a separate database of your training data.

Can the agent handle multiple client organizations within one Coassemble account?

Yes. Coassemble's API supports clientIdentifier filtering. The agent can scope queries to a specific client organization, listing their courses, users, and progress separately. This is especially useful for training companies managing multiple client accounts.

What happens if a learner asks about a course that no longer exists?

The agent queries Coassemble live and receives the current course catalog. If a course has been removed or archived, it will not appear in the results. The agent informs the learner that the course is no longer available and can suggest they contact their training administrator for alternatives.

How is this different from Coassemble's built-in learner dashboard?

Coassemble's dashboard requires learners to log in and navigate the interface. Tars brings the answers to wherever your learners already are, including your website, WhatsApp, or internal chat. Plus, the agent combines Coassemble data with your other connected tools for richer, context-aware responses.

Can the agent filter training completions by date for compliance reporting?

Yes. The Coassemble Get Trackings endpoint accepts start and end date parameters in ISO 8601 format. The agent can retrieve completions for any date range, making it simple to answer questions like 'How many people finished fire safety training in Q3?' without running manual exports.
