If the prospect mentions their company, the agent links the person to the matching Capsule organisation in the same API call.
Yes. The Create Party endpoint accepts an organisation object where you can specify the organisation by ID or name. If the organisation already exists in Capsule, the agent links the new person to it. If it does not exist, the agent can create the organisation first, then link the person record.
Tars uses a Personal Access Token generated from your Capsule CRM account preferences. The token inherits the permissions of the user who creates it. For full functionality, use a token from an admin account. You can revoke the token anytime from your Capsule settings to disconnect the integration.
No. The agent queries Capsule's REST API live during each conversation. Contact records, organisation details, task lists, and activity entries are fetched in real time and used only to serve the current interaction. Tars does not maintain a replica of your CRM data.
Yes. If a customer says their email changed, the agent calls Capsule's Update Party endpoint with the party ID and the modified emailAddresses array. Important: the update replaces the entire array, so the agent includes all existing email addresses plus the new one to avoid accidentally removing old entries.
The agent uses Capsule's Run Filter Query endpoint, which accepts structured filter conditions on any party field, including custom fields. You can combine multiple conditions (e.g., industry is 'SaaS' AND country is 'US') and specify sort order. Results are paginated and return full contact details.
