Can the agent access multiple Algolia indexes in a single conversation?

What API key permissions does the Tars integration require?

For basic search functionality, a Search-only API key is sufficient and recommended for security. If you want your agent to also manage settings, create A/B tests, or update synonyms, you will need to provide an Admin API key with broader permissions.

Does Tars store copies of my Algolia search data?

Tars does not store your index data. Search queries are sent directly to Algolia's servers, and results pass through to the conversation without persistent storage. Only conversation logs and analytics about agent performance are retained according to your data retention settings.
