When a website visitor provides their contact information, your AI agent calls the AccuLynx Create Lead API with their first name, last name, and email address. The lead appears in your AccuLynx pipeline immediately, tagged with the source so you can track which channels produce the best roofing leads.

Can the AI agent schedule roof inspections directly on my AccuLynx calendar?

Yes. Once a job record exists in AccuLynx, your AI agent can add appointments using the Add Job Appointment endpoint. The agent sends the job ID, start time, and end time to create the inspection slot. Your field team sees the appointment on their mobile app with all property details included.

What AccuLynx permissions does the Tars integration require?

The integration uses your AccuLynx API key, which you generate in your account settings. The key needs access to create leads, contacts, jobs, and appointments. Your Location or Company Administrator can create a dedicated API key for the Tars integration with appropriate permissions.

Does Tars store copies of my AccuLynx customer data?

Tars does not store your AccuLynx data. The AI agent writes information to AccuLynx through the API and may temporarily cache job IDs during a conversation to schedule appointments. Your customer records, job details, and contact information remain exclusively in your AccuLynx account.

Can the AI agent distinguish between residential and commercial roofing inquiries?

Your AI agent can be trained to ask qualifying questions about property type, square footage, and building use. Based on the answers, it applies the appropriate job category and work type when creating records in AccuLynx.
