A customer describes what they need and your AI agent creates it. Product mockups, marketing visuals, custom illustrations, and branded graphics materialize during live conversations powered by OpenAI's GPT Image 1 and DALL-E models. Visual content creation becomes as simple as describing what you want.

Your AI agent transforms text descriptions into stunning images using OpenAI's latest image generation models, producing custom visuals during any customer or team interaction.
OpenAI Image Gen
Real scenarios where businesses generate custom visual content through AI conversations instead of waiting days for design deliverables.
A client describes a new product idea during a consultation chat. Your AI Agent takes their description and generates a visual concept using GPT Image 1, showing what the product might look like. The client asks for adjustments, a different color, a smaller logo, and the agent generates revised versions within the same conversation. What used to take a designer 3 days happens in 3 minutes.
Your social media manager needs a promotional graphic for a flash sale starting in an hour. They tell the AI Agent the product, the discount percentage, and the brand style. The agent generates a landscape image optimized for social media with the promotional theme. Three variants arrive for review, and the winning design goes live, all within a single chat session.
A support team lead needs a simple illustration explaining a product feature for a help article. Instead of filing a design request and waiting, they describe the concept to the AI Agent. The agent generates an illustration on a transparent background in PNG format, ready to drop into the help center. Support documentation gets visual aids the same day they are needed.

FAQs
GPT Image 1 is a natively multimodal language model that generates images with better instruction following and contextual awareness. It supports transparent backgrounds, multiple output formats, and up to 10 variants per prompt. DALL-E 3 offers vivid or natural styles but only generates one image per request and lacks transparency support. The agent defaults to GPT Image 1 for the best results.
GPT Image 1 supports prompts up to 32,000 characters, allowing extremely detailed descriptions. DALL-E 3 supports up to 4,000 characters, and DALL-E 2 supports up to 1,000 characters. Longer prompts with more detail generally produce more accurate results, especially with GPT Image 1.
Tars requires your OpenAI API key with access to the images endpoint. The same key you use for text generation works for image generation. Image generation costs are billed by OpenAI based on the model, size, and quality level used. You control spending limits in your OpenAI account.
Generated images are delivered to the conversation participant and are subject to Tars' standard data handling. For DALL-E 2 and 3, OpenAI provides URLs that expire after 60 minutes. For GPT Image 1, images are returned as base64 data. Tars does not maintain a permanent gallery of generated images.
Yes, but only with GPT Image 1. Set the background parameter to transparent, and the model produces images with no background. This is ideal for product shots, logos, and illustrations that need to be placed on different colored backgrounds. DALL-E models do not support transparency.
ChatGPT's image generation is limited to the ChatGPT interface. With Tars, image generation becomes part of your business workflow. Your AI agent can generate a product mockup, save it to OneDrive, share it via email, and update a project task, all in one conversation across any channel your customers use.
The current integration focuses on text-to-image generation through the generations endpoint. OpenAI does offer an edits endpoint for modifying existing images, which can be added as capabilities expand. For now, the agent excels at creating new images from detailed text descriptions.
OpenAI's content moderation policies apply to all generated images. The GPT Image 1 model includes a moderation parameter with auto or low settings. Requests that violate OpenAI's usage policies will be rejected. The agent handles moderation rejections gracefully, explaining why a request could not be fulfilled.
Don't limit your AI Agent to basic conversations. Watch how to configure and add powerful tools making your agent smarter and more functional.
