Which blockchain protocols does Kaleido support through this integration?

Kaleido supports Ethereum (Geth, Quorum), Hyperledger Besu, Hyperledger Fabric, Corda, and Polygon. The agent interacts with Kaleido's platform-level API, which is protocol-agnostic. Whether your consortia run on Besu or Fabric, the agent can list environments, manage credentials, and check infrastructure status.

Can the agent create new blockchain environments or deploy nodes?

The current integration focuses on read and management operations: listing consortia, environments, services, and roles, plus creating and managing API keys. Environment and node provisioning are admin-level operations better handled through the Kaleido console with proper governance review.

How does the wallet nonce check prevent transaction failures?

Every Ethereum transaction requires a sequential nonce. If two transactions use the same nonce, one fails. The agent fetches the current nonce from Kaleido's HD wallet before your developer constructs a transaction, ensuring the correct sequence number is used. This prevents stuck or rejected transactions on the network.

Does Tars store any blockchain keys or wallet information?

No. API keys, wallet nonces, and credential data are queried from Kaleido in real time and used only within the active conversation. Tars does not cache private keys, wallet addresses, or organizational secrets. All sensitive data stays in Kaleido's infrastructure.

Can the agent add identity proofs like x.509 certificates to organizations?

Yes. The agent supports Kaleido's identity proof endpoint. You provide the organization ID, a name for the proof, and the Base64-encoded certificate chain. The agent registers the x.509 identity proof, enabling certificate-based authentication for your consortium members.
