What types of content can the AI agent generate through Gamma?

The agent can generate three content formats: presentations (slide decks with up to 75 cards for Ultra users), documents (continuous page reports), and social media posts (optimized for Instagram, TikTok, and LinkedIn). Each format uses Gamma's AI to create structured, visually designed content from text input.

How long does it take to generate a presentation through the agent?

Gamma processes content asynchronously. Most presentations with 10-15 slides complete in 30-60 seconds. The agent polls the generation endpoint every few seconds and delivers the link as soon as it is ready. Longer presentations with more cards or complex image generation may take slightly more time.

Can I control how Gamma handles my input text during generation?

Yes. Three text modes are available: 'generate' expands brief prompts into full slide content, 'condense' summarizes long text to fit slides, and 'preserve' keeps your exact wording while adding visual structure. The agent selects the appropriate mode based on input length or your explicit preference.

Does the agent support exporting to PowerPoint or PDF?

Yes. When generating content, the agent can request PDF or PPTX export alongside the Gamma URL. The export link is included in the generation results. Note that export links expire after some time, so download promptly or regenerate when needed.

What Gamma plan do I need for the API integration?

You need a Gamma Pro, Ultra, Team, or Business plan. API access is not available on the free plan. Pro users can create up to 60 cards per presentation while Ultra users get up to 75. API keys are generated from the Settings and Members page in your Gamma account.

Can the agent apply my company's branding to generated presentations?

Yes. Specify a theme name in the generation request. Gamma supports built-in themes like 'Night Sky' and 'Oasis', plus custom workspace themes you create in Gamma. Custom themes define color palettes, typography, and visual styles that apply consistently across all generated content.

How does the agent handle card splitting in multi-slide presentations?

Two modes are available. In 'auto' mode, Gamma's AI decides how to split content across the specified number of cards. In 'inputTextBreaks' mode, you control splits by placing separator markers in your text. The agent can use either approach depending on how structured your input is.

Can the AI agent generate content in languages other than English?

Yes. Gamma supports 60+ languages for content generation. The agent passes your text in whatever language you provide, and Gamma generates presentations, documents, or social posts in that language. Multi-language support works across all three content formats.
