The agent calls the List Engines endpoint to discover all models available on your account. This typically includes Stable Diffusion XL, SD 3.5, and other engines Stability AI makes available. The specific models depend on your DreamStudio account tier and Stability AI's current offerings.

Can the agent generate images from scratch using only a text description?

The current integration focuses on image-to-image generation, where users provide a reference image along with text prompts. The agent transforms the reference according to the prompt description. For pure text-to-image without a reference, users can provide a simple base image as a starting point.

How does the image-to-image feature preserve the original composition?

The agent controls this through the image_strength parameter, which ranges from 0 to 1. Lower values produce outputs closer to the original image, while higher values give the text prompt more influence. You can instruct the agent to keep compositions tight or allow more creative freedom.

What happens if my DreamStudio credits run out during a conversation?

The agent can check your credit balance before attempting generation. If credits are insufficient, it reports the current balance and suggests topping up. If a generation fails due to zero credits, the agent explains the issue clearly instead of returning a confusing error.

Does Tars store the generated images after the conversation ends?

Generated images are delivered within the conversation context. Tars does not maintain a permanent gallery of your DreamStudio outputs. If you need to save generated images, download them during the conversation or configure your workflow to store them in your preferred storage service.

Can I control the image resolution and quality through the chat?

Yes. Users can specify width, height, guidance scale, number of diffusion steps, and how many samples to generate, all through natural language. The agent maps these preferences to DreamStudio API parameters. Resolutions must be multiples of 8 pixels as required by Stable Diffusion.

The DreamStudio web UI requires users to navigate a separate application with sliders and controls.
