How does the AI agent upload media to Cincopa?

The agent calls Cincopa's Asset Upload From URL endpoint with the source URL. You can optionally specify a gallery ID (fid) to organize the asset, or an existing asset ID (rid) to attach it as a thumbnail. Cincopa processes the file on its servers and returns a status ID so the agent can track progress.

Can the agent upload videos, images, and audio files?

Yes. The Upload From URL endpoint accepts any media URL that Cincopa supports, including video, image, and audio formats. Cincopa handles transcoding and optimization on their side. The agent simply provides the source URL and target gallery.

How do I authenticate the Cincopa integration in Tars?

In your Tars dashboard, navigate to Tools, select Cincopa, and enter your Cincopa API token. You can find this token in your Cincopa account under the developer or API settings section. Once saved, all upload and management endpoints are available to your agent.

Does Tars store copies of media uploaded to Cincopa?

No. Tars passes the source URL directly to Cincopa's API. The media file is downloaded, processed, and stored entirely within Cincopa's infrastructure, delivered through their global CDN. Tars only retains the status ID temporarily to track upload progress during the conversation.

What happens if an upload fails or takes too long?

The agent monitors progress using the Get Upload Status endpoint. If the upload stalls or encounters an error, the status response reflects the failure. You can also proactively abort an upload using the Abort endpoint before it completes, and the agent will confirm cancellation to the user.

How is this different from uploading directly through Cincopa's dashboard?

Cincopa's dashboard requires you to log in, navigate to a gallery, and drag files or paste URLs manually. Tars integration lets anyone with access to your chatbot import media by simply sharing a link in the conversation. It is especially useful for customer-submitted content or cross-team collaboration where not everyone has a Cincopa login.

Can the agent organize uploads into specific Cincopa galleries?

Yes. When calling Asset Upload From URL, the agent includes the 'fid' parameter with your gallery's unique identifier. This routes the uploaded asset directly into the correct gallery. If no gallery ID is provided, the asset goes into your default collection.

Is there a limit on how many assets the agent can upload?

Upload limits depend on your Cincopa plan. The Plus plan supports 50 videos and 1,800 images. Corporate allows 250 videos and 7,000 images. Enterprise Unlimited removes media caps entirely. The Tars agent respects your plan's capacity, and Cincopa will reject uploads that exceed your allotment.
