# Share your agent link

> Copy the link to your published agent, share it, download its QR code, and serve the same full-page agent from your own subdomain.

At the end of this page, you have a link and a QR code that open your published agent as a full-page conversation. The same page can also run on a subdomain you own, which needs a DNS change and an iframe snippet.

## Before you start

Before you start, sign in to <a href={urls.app}>the dashboard</a> and select the organization you want to work in.

* You need a published agent. See [Agents, flows, and deployments](/docs/get-started/agents-flows-deployments).

## Copy and test the link

    In the builder sidebar, select **Distribute**. The **Agent Link** view opens first, under the **Web** group.

    In the **Agent Link** card, select the copy icon next to the link field.

    Select the open icon next to the copy icon. The agent opens as a full-page conversation in a new tab.

## Share the link

The **Share** card sends the same link to common destinations without leaving the view.

| Button          | What it does                                                                 |
| --------------- | ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- |
| **Copy Link**   | Copies the agent link, the same as the copy icon in the **Agent Link** card. |
| **WhatsApp**    | Opens WhatsApp in a new tab with the link prefilled in a message.            |
| **Twitter / X** | Opens a post composer in a new tab with the link prefilled.                  |
| **Email**       | Opens your mail app with the link in a new draft.                            |

## Download a QR code

The **QR Code** card shows a code that opens your agent when scanned.

| Control  | What it does                                                                             |
| -------- | ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- |
| **Size** | **Small**, **Medium**, or **Large**. **Medium** is selected by default.                  |
| **PNG**  | Downloads the code as a PNG image for screens and standard print.                        |
| **SVG**  | Downloads the code as an SVG that scales to any size, which suits posters and packaging. |

Select a size before you download. The message **QR code downloaded as PNG** or **QR code downloaded as SVG** confirms the download.

## Serve the agent on your own subdomain

The **On Your Domain** view, under the same **Web** group, serves the full-page agent from a subdomain you own, such as `chat.example.com`. The view has no input fields. It lists three steps and gives you an iframe snippet with your agent filled in.

  <Step title="Add a CNAME record">
    In your DNS provider, add a CNAME record for your subdomain. Point it at the host that step 1 in the view shows.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Configure the subdomain">
    Step 2 in the view points you to **General settings**, but the dashboard has no subdomain field. Complete steps 1 and 3, then ask Tars support to map your subdomain.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Embed the iframe">
    Select the copy icon at the top right of the snippet. Add the snippet to any page on your domain.

The iframe loads the same full-page conversation as the agent link. To place a launcher-style widget on your site instead, see [Embed the widget](/docs/guides/deploy/embed-the-widget).

## Verify

Open the agent link in a private browser window. The agent starts the conversation exactly as end users see it. Scan the QR code with a phone camera to confirm it opens the same page. If you set up your own subdomain, open a page that contains the iframe and confirm the conversation loads inside it.
